This beautiful bracelet is another handmade and designed by me. No two will ever be the same.
The technique I use when making these bracelets is not loomwork it's handweaving. This adds to the individuality of each piece and makes the beadwork far more flexible and durable than loomwork. For more information on peyote stitch please click here.
This bracelet took 3 1/2 hours to complete.
Stunning glass beads are used in this. They are of Japanese and Czech origin therefore they're exquisite quality. The main body colour of the bracelet is worked in lovely amethyst purple coloured beads which are lined with silver so that they reflect and sparkle amazingly. The other colours used in the design are sky blue, again silver lined beads and iridescent candy pink beads which reflects lots of colours over the surface of the beads due to the polishing technique used in manufacture. The pink beads almost look like they have a petrolium coloured sheen on the surface of each bead.
The bracelet here, has a traditional button and loop closing. This gives the bracelet a great look as well as being good for those who like me have skin sensitive to costume jewellry metals. The closing beads are a watermelon colour - both green and pinky at the same time with a silver scrolling over the surface.
The size of this bracelet is 16cm on smallest closing 18cm on largest. The width of the bracelet is 1.7cm
