The power of two runes are combined and made into this one very potent charm.
This bind rune is used to help people who have problems conceiving a child. It has 2 runes combined in it. Inguz and laguz. Inguz is connected to the fertility god Ing. This rune has strong connections with male health and fertility, new births and creative energy. Laguz is strongly related to the ebb and flow of tides and the cycles of the moon. It's a rune strongly linked with feminine fertility and usually represents pregnancy and children. To learn more about laguz, please click here. This would be a marvellous gift to anyone who is trying to concieve. I have modelled each of these from an air-drying clay. I make the pebble shape and score the runic symbol into it. I then punch the thread hole through it and leave it to dry. This can take up to 48 hours. I have to turn the rune over to dry it evenly during this time. I then mix up some black paint and with a very fine paint brush add the colour to the runic symbol. I add the keyring attachment at this stage too and leave it to dry for another 6 hours or so. I then add a couple of coats of a special clay varnish, which does not change the colour of the clay and is matt in finish. This has to dry for another 12 hours at least before it is ready. So all in all three days worth of drying time is needed for each keyring. Each of course is therefore individual.
