Little charms, glistening and sparkly!
This little charm can be used as a handbag charm or as a Christmas tree decoration. It looks fantastic as either. The silver heart at the bottom of the charm has been made using air dry clay. I fashion the shape and imprint a pattern onto the surface. This then has to dry which takes about 36 hours. Once the clay is dry, I paint the entire surface with a few coats of metallic paint. One that is dry, I can apply a few coats of matt varnish. That all has to dry which takes another 12 hours. The silver heart is then threaded onto purple, hemp thread. Scattered throughout the rest of the thread are tiny, multi-coloured, ultra-sparkly seed beads and a pretty, red, fire polished heart bead. This cute little heart is made from glass in the Czech republic. It is fire polised on one side, which gives it a multi-coloured sheen. The length of this charm from the top of the thread to bottom of the coin is 4.5 inches. |
