| Three Red bracelet |

I came up with the design for this bracelet whilst watching a nature programme! It was a programme on snakes, just in case you were wondering. Another bracelet in peyote stich. This means each is hand woven not loom woven, this adds to the uniqueness of each peyote stitched piece. For more information on peyote stitch please click here. This bracelet took 4 hours to complete. The bracelet is worked in 3 different shade of red. There is what I would describe as strawberry red, silver lined (which makes the beads sparkle beautifully) beads. Then I have used iridescent red coloured beads in the middle. These iridescent beads have a marvellous sheen due to fire polishing. This makes the surface of the bead reflect many colours at once a bit like titanium or petrolium. The last beads I used are red licorice coloured, matt, frosted texture beads. The contrast beween the 3 tones of red and the 3 different bead textures is lovely. I have gone for the traditional loop and button closing. The finishing beads on this bracelet are amethyst and moonstone crystals. Again the moonstones have great clarity and fire. The length of the bracelet is 6 3/4 inches at smallest bead setting and at largest 7 1/4 inches. The width is 2cm.
